Antique Apothecary Druggist Jar (1890s–1920s)

Before the common, pre-made formulations we find at pharmacies today, druggists would often mix custom formulations specific to a client's needs. Drugstores of this era contained tons of different raw ingredients, ranging from witch hazel and glycerine to mothballs and gasoline.

This specific bottle obviously contained glycerin, and I tentatively date it back to the 1890s–1920s.

• Condition: fine; their is a small chip in the lip.
