This is SUCH a fun read. It is essentially this Methodist guy ranting the entire book about how alcohol is ruining America and the youth of today don't know shit about hard work blah blah blah. He obviously was just not invited to any of the parties and is bitter.
The book really is a fantastic freeze-frame in time of the arguments used to ban alcohol—and they are alarmingly similar to the arguments used today by old assholes. Not to mention this book is in fantastic condition and still has the dust jacket on it AND it's a first edition.
