This small work features the Toé plant (Brugmansia). This is the scopolamine-containing master plant used extensively throughout the Amazon for deep visionary work.
The artist who created this piece is the mother of the famous Shipibo singer Victor Yui. She is an Ayahuasca shaman herself, and her work often reflects the intense "dieting" of these powerful plants.
